Great for boating
My son and wife own a sailboat and plan to take off for a year or so to sail the East Coast and Caribbean. They have other Dewalt tools and batteries. Got his for them, they really like it. LED lights are very bright and directional for seeing channel markers and working on boat. The RED light was a surprise, for checking sail at night without loosing night vision. With other Dewalt batteries you can be sure it will work when you need it.
When lite flashes, blinks, battery is low
Bought this Dewalt flashlight, had it for 4 months and didn'trealizedu til after Amazon couldn't do anything for me, when i went to use it after 5 days, that the flashlight drained my battery. I thoughtI was leaving the light on at first, but after about the fifth time this happened, it killed my large 3 amp heavy duty battery. I have to contact Dewalt, the manufacturer and get it serviced. I don't think they're going to replace the battery. These batteries are not cheap!
